Carmageddon could rise again trough a kickstarter campaign

With Carmageddon: Reincarnation as the new title in the series and with an estimated budget of $ 400,000, they expected to raise through a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign which was opened just two days ago and in which 4,677 people have participated contributing $ 162,993. Why rely on crowdfunding to develop a game that traditionally has been so successful? The answer is simple: independecy.

Getting  funding through Kickstarter implies that we will maintain full control of the project and we can develop the game everyone wants to play, ie no evil investors or distributors tell us that we can not pass the car over an old woman or set fire to a cow.

To encourage contributors, the Stainless Games team will provide a tribute to those who donate to the cause and with a donation of $ 15 secures the free download of the game as it is released to the market, plus other incentives and rewards based on the contribution you make. For higher donations (around $ 1,000), donors will have the chance to appear in the game and, of course, being a victim of one of the corridors, a peculiar prize.

  1. Wow.. So many childhood memories... Can't wait for the release, the development team seems great and so kind.
