While we are very excited to see the Google's Project Glass working, the truth is that it is more for curiosity than for its practicality, at least for now. This video of Tom Scott turns into a parody of what would be the glasses if we followed the line that Google has for other products.

In the video you can see how the company with sell the user's life and blind our vision with advertisements and offers, misinterpreting voice commands and even sharing information with local authorities. All this while the user is standing fight to keep surviving such interference. While the glasses seem the definitive introduction to augmented reality, in the situations described by the author we maybe see a prediction from a near future.
